GrateFULL Dinner at Confluence Arts Center

June 17-19 marks the official kick off of events at Confluence Arts Center with a weekend of GrateFuLL Dinners, an Inspired Brunch, dancing, wine pairings, Yoga, Sound and Connecting. Confluence Arts is delighted to welcome our dear friend, collaborator and distinguished chef David Kornell, for this Grand Re-activation at Domaine Margelle Vineyards, celebrating a new phase of events, experiences and happenings at the new Confluence Art Center.

Chef David has been based in New York City for 17 years, opening and working in some of Manhattan and Brooklyn's most loved restaurants and venues, including Brooklyn Bowl, Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and Grill/Izakaya, Cafe Gray and Maloney and Porcelli.  In recent years he has cooked for meditation, sound, movement and creative retreats, incorporating a mindful approach through conscious consumption and gratitude for nature. It is with this approach that we will connect with local farms, producers and purveyors, to help us paint a picture of the incredible abundance around us.

The weekend offers three multi-coursed dining experiences paired with some of the storied wines from the Domaine Margelle vaults, along with mindfulness practices (breathing, yoga and meditation) led by Brianna, and sacred sounds of the Didgeridoo, Himalayan Bowls and Gong led by Andre. We’ll also host opportunities to dance into the eve should you choose to bring your dancing shoes! Join us for this beautiful weekend celebrating the intersection of nourishment, spirit, science, art, movement, sound, nature and community.

Friday Night:

Our Grand Opening Preview- Our first event at Confluence Art Center. Rosé and Snacks hour at 6pm, followed by a multi-course meal highlighting the best of whats around and available, foraged and farmed, and paired with some amazing vintages of Domaine Margelle wine.
