About the event
Remembrance: A Meditative Mantra & Kirtan Embodiment Concert
On July 19, Mokshajyoti be joined by the wonderful musician Joss Jaffe for Remembrance—an evening of meditation, mantra, music, movement, and collective singing.
We’ll begin outdoors with a gentle Yoga of Sound and somatic embodiment practice, awakening the body, breath, and voice. From there, we’ll journey through meditative stillness, healing vibrations, ancient mantras, heartfelt kirtan, collective singing, rhythm, movement, and silence.
Like a river, the evening will gently flow between deep rest and joyful celebration—inviting you to sing, listen, move, and simply be.
Remembrance is an invitation to return to the ancient remembrance of what the heart has always known. Beyond words, beyond identity, beyond striving, there is a place within us that remembers. Through sound, voice, rhythm, and silence, we gather to listen to that quiet knowing—together.
Come exactly as you are. Whether you sing every mantra or simply rest in…
