About the event

We’re so excited to be collaborating with the Herb Shoppe PDX and Kelly Viernes again to host another Summer Solstice Day Retreat on Saturday June 22! Join us for a day in the countryside at Confluence Arts Center to celebrate the Solstice and welcome Summer! We will be welcoming in Joy with this Summer Solstice. Come invite Joy back into your life with the energy of the sun! Be immersed in nature and replenish your body and soul through a rich combination of offerings including: mindful movement and meditation, sound healing, plant walk, elixir making, flower crown crafting, journaling, and restorative yoga. We’ll integrate the day with a cacao experience and closing ritual. A locally sourced home cooked vegetarian lunch and snacks are included with registration.

Offerings facilitated by Brianna Taylor (Mindful Movement, Journaling, Restorative Yoga), Andre Dimapilis (Sound bath/Kalayaan Sound), Amanda Furbee of the Herb Shoppe (plant walk, elixer making, flower crowns), and Kelly Viernes (cacao experience).

Pricing:

Sliding Scale $129, $189, $249

We're offering a pricing tier structure that considers basic costs of food and supplies, overhead, facilitation, and equity. We invite you to consider these tiers and what’s possible within your current financial situation, and choose the amount you are able to offer at this time. We’ve included these tiers in full transparency in alignment with our values of equity and community care, and in honesty of the costs of what’s being offered (food, facilitation, flower crowns, elixirs, cacao). We’ve included the ‘Green Bottle Sliding Scale*’ model to support your consideration of what you can offer to participate in this retreat.

* Alexis J. Cunningfolk is the creator of the Green Bottle Sliding Scale. Please see their website for in depth explorations around financial liberation.

While listening to divine Spirit and intuition, Andre was guided to use other indigenous and traditional instruments for setting intentions during ritual, ceremony, and spiritual work. He is the founder of Kalayaan Sound LLC. Kalayaan is the Filipinx word for freedom, using sound for participants to re-connect and re-member the freedom of their spirit.
